E for Energy

Energy

"Feel the vibe" (Till the morning comes) By Axwell ft. Tara McDonald

Now we are reaching our end, But we still hold the final letter and meaning to why i love to dance.
The Energy. When starting off, many dancers are indeed excited to let loose what they learned, picked up, and mastered. Once the music begins to play, we do start out abit nervous. However, once we start we don't ever want to stop feeling the energy we get from the crowd, from our peers, from the music, and most importantly from ourselves. It's like having magic that helps someone and reaches out and they then feel your energy. The Vibe is in you.

C for Communication

Communication

This is my Favorite!
We as Dancers do know that we are all one song, one rhythm, and one beat from our hearts to our feet. In many forms of dance, one dancer is never alone when we step on to the dancefloor. Rather it be two for one dance, or Fifthteen for a routine. Each dancer is speaking through the form of you guest it, "DANCE".

I normally enjoy a two person dance. Such as Waltz and Swing. These two both show character when engaged to the music. Each step, each movement, each motion speaks to one another and becomes one soul. It also goes with hip hop as well. The form of two sync together, it becomes a rush of excitement for both Dancers. The best way to get to know a dancer.

N for New Steps

New Steps

I will be honest, it can be Very hard to come up with something that will please the crowd.
Learning new steps and movements from a teacher can be challenging even when you put your heart and soul into it. Otherwise, you would look like a robot doing the same thing over and over. Best advice I can give is to observe your surroundings. Meaning to look at everything. Tree's, animals, People, billboards, signs, etc.

This comes mostly in handy for those who are visual learners. And yes, it takes time for us as well to come up with the things we see and to put it together like a puzzle. But make no mistake, it's always fun to learn something new and get the feel of your own and new creation following with sound.

A for Art

Art

(Name of Photo: Joy of the Earth. Photographer: Vincent Downton)
The Art of dance comes with both good and bad progress. We as Artist may have critics to tell us or just plain down us. That can either crush us or make us stronger, but we have that one critic that will never leave. That is ourselves.
With Dance, it is a moving art, As if the painter is drawing the dancer and can make us turn in to many shapes and create the world around us.
When we dance, we tell a story. Just like any and every form of art.
After getting to know different forms of dance, I learn to see elements and how they are used. I am a well known visual learner, and with the help of the music I can think and see abit of the story. To see and believe the world they are creating is a treasure to uphold.

This is a Video of a Dance group known to be the Wrecking Orchestra.
Performing their piece, Amazing Tron Dance.

D for Determination

Determination.

Many of those who Dance, there's a neutral  mind set when it come to pulling off something that no one has ever seen before. For most Dancers, it can be a bit stressful cause you want to make it look perfect. And you want to "wow" the crowd or inspire someone to become just like what you love or live to do.
Some go through hours and hours of practice to achieve this goal, and will get back up to retrace the steps that they as the dancer has made.
Now, Some are Determined to make someones day bright with this art of dance. Even those who are young looks up to a certain dancer or dance group(s)
For me, I grew determined to dance when I saw Justin Timberlake before and after Nsync
I began to look and follow the movement he made. Day by day, I not only met up to his movements, but began to learn my own along with joining dancing groups and classes.
My Dancing Determination is deep within my soul. However, Due to things around me, i have lost my way from my feet to continue. But Somewhere lies a part of me that will be forever dancing and will
never stop.
